Thawab wordt beheerd door een in de VS geregistreerd bedrijf dat liefdadigheidsprojecten namens donateurs uitvoert. Giften zijn niet fiscaal aftrekbaar en wij geven geen belastingbewijzen af.
Elk project wordt gedocumenteerd. Na afronding ontvangt u foto's, waar mogelijk video, en een kort geschreven rapport — vaak met GPS-coördinaten of de naam van de school, het dorp of de familie.
Voedsel- en koran-distributies zijn meestal binnen enkele weken afgerond. Putten duren langer — doorgaans één tot drie maanden, afhankelijk van de booromstandigheden. Qurbani wordt uitgevoerd binnen de voorgeschreven dagen of, bij bestellingen door het jaar heen, binnen twee weken.
